Base’s own Head of Product Support Jo-Anne Rodriguez kicked things off by talking about how sales can help support create more positive customer experiences. Among her tips for driving retention and customer satisfaction (CSAT) are selling to the right customers, making the post-sales transition as seamless as possible, and so much more.
Next, Zendesk’s Director of Sales Technology Alliances Billy Robins spoke about how customer success can work with sales to improve acquisition and growth. For example, creating sales visibility into open support tickets enables reps to better time and position upsells, while paying special attention to free trial tickets provides an opportunity for support to actively sell.
Finally, YCharts’ Director of Customer Success James Han shared his experience unifying sales and support at his company. James chatted about the tools and tactics he uses to align these two departments, including the Base and Zendesk integration.
We ended the webinar with a Q&A session where our speakers provided insight and shared their expertise around topics and questions submitted by attendees.
