Introducing Precision Views for Base Geolocation

Every day we’re seeing more and more sales teams use Base to sell on the road. One thing we hear over and over is the call for the ability to be more precise when creating new leads from the Geolocation map. So today, we’re introducing Precision Views for Base Geolocation on iOS and Android. This update requires the latest version of Base and is available on all editions.

Precision Views are automatically enabled as you zoom into a specific point on the map in Base. From the Precision View you can see the details of any buildings in the area and create a new lead, contact or deal at the precise location. With this update we are also displaying secondary information like Unqualified Leads and Contacts with small white circles on the map.

In the solar and medical device industries, our new Visits experience has proven to be a home run. Field sales teams are able to log the outcome of each and every interaction they have on the road and front line managers have an up-to-date account of everything that is happening in the field. The outcomes from these visits will now be visible in map view when reviewing leads, contacts and deals, adding an additional dimension to Base Geolocation.

In addition to the new Precision Views, we’ve also added a slew of improvements including new animations, performance updates and a whole new popup experience when interacting with leads, contacts or deals on the map. iPhone users will also notice that fields are now properly ordered and grouped when editing leads, contacts and deals.
