At Base, we know high-growth sales teams want to provide a seamless and delightful onboarding experience for their new hires, so we recently launched a new customized onboarding process to enable this idea.
When new hires join organizations with legacy systems, the onboarding process can feel confusing, distant and not personalized. We’re working to make sure Base users feel welcome from their very first day.
As a Base customer, new hires who join your organization will now receive a friendly onboarding experience. The first step in this is a customized welcome communication from your system administrator, instead of an unknown email alias or worse – no welcome at all.
Once a user selects to create their Base account and identifies their role, Base will provide a tailored in-product onboarding experience. While this isn’t an in-depth training, this process is designed to give users including sales reps, sales managers and sales operations a head start by providing them with a quick overview of:
– Which applications users in similar roles find most useful
– Where to locate them in the tool
– What to use them for
This customized onboarding experience aims to get your sales team up and running with the right amount of detail to be effective on Day 1 of selling using Base. This gives you one less onboarding checklist item and sets your team up for optimal Base usage in the future.
