Last month we rolled out Base Documents giving our users the ability to drag-and-drop their important files into Base and securely store them with their Deals, Contacts and Leads.
Today, we’re adding a huge cherry on top of an already great feature – Document Repository, one place where you can store your Documents and share them with your whole team. It’s like a library for all of your marketing material, quoting templates and anything else your team needs – all at your fingertips, any time you need them.
With the Document Repository, your marketing team or sales manager (anyone who is a Base Admin or manager) can add new Documents so they are accessible for the entire team. After a Document is in your Repository, anyone can add that Document to a Lead, Contact or Deal.
Let the dragging and dropping begin!
You can access your Document Repository any time by clicking on the gears in the top right corner and selecting Document Repository. From there, start dragging and dropping your Documents into your Document Repo. Any time you want to add a file from your Repository to a Deal, Contact or Lead just click the “+” to add a Document and select “Select from Repository.” Select the Document you’re looking for and click Attach. It’s super easy.
