Push Notifications For iOS and Android Now Available

Base Push Notifications

A few short weeks ago, we introduced web Notifications. Today we’re taking Notifications a step further with mobile push Notifications for iOS and Android. It is now possible to receive a Notification on your smartphone or tablet; helping you to stay updated, even when you’re away from the office. All you need to do is grab the latest version of Base for iOS or Android.

When we introduced web Notifications, we also introduced custom notifications and even showed how you can stay updated as a collaborator. The problem was, as soon as you stepped away from your computer, those notifications couldn’t reach you. Today’s mobile Notifications will serve as the ultimate tool for staying in the know, at all times.

Mobile Notifications are available on all plans. To get Notifications on your mobile device, be sure that you have the latest version of Base installed. To update on your iOS device, tap here. Android users can update by tapping here.

What types of notifications are you using to stay updated? We’d love to hear in the comments.

Has anyone else noticed that push notifications only work on iOS if the app is always open?

      Hi Jeff,
Notifications are built to alert you even when the app is closed. If you’re noticing an issue with this, our support team will be happy to look into it for you.

Please just shoot a quick email to support@getbase.com and specify the email address you use to login to Base.
