We hear it all the time. “I’d love to start working with Base instead of my current CRM, but I don’t know how to migrate my current sales opportunities.”
With the new Deal importer, launched today, we aim to eliminate concerns about switching to Base by making the process easy to understand so you can be up and running with Base by close of business today! Does it sound too good to be true? It’s not – here’s why.
With the new Base Deal importer, our current and prospective customers no longer have to be concerned about data migration. Base takes all of the data from your current CRM and seamlessly imports it, allowing you to start using a new, future-ready CRM.
Now, you can evaluate Base in parallel to whatever sales tracking software you’re using currently.
Importing built for you, not the IT department
As you’ve come to expect with Base, we’ve kept it easy. All you need is a spreadsheet that includes a deal name, a value and a company/contact to attach the deal to. You can also refer to this import template if you’d like. After you have your data ready, just go to Settings > Import to load everything into Base. We’ve built the deal importer on top of our existing importer so there’s nothing new to learn. You can also refer to this step-by-step guide for importing deals. For those of you new to Base, you can also upload your Contacts and Leads as well.
Move to Base, A Post-PC CRM – leave nothing behind
If you’re looking to get started with Base, but still have your data in another system, have no fear! It’s pretty easy to get everything exported from your current system. Check out these export instructions for some popular tools. If you’re looking to switch to Base from Salesforce, we created a custom importer for you.
From now on, you can evaluate Base in parallel to whatever you’re working with today. Give it a try – we dare you to go back to your current CRM after you do. Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
