Like most people, when I think of CRM, I think of managing sales cycles and customer relationships, not hiring. But, my team jumped right into using Base for managing our hiring and I’ll tell you why.
Similar to someone in a sales role, a hiring manager is the face of the organization to outsiders including people who may eventually be your company’s decision-makers or future customers if they didn’t get the job. Job candidates are viewing, evaluating and making judgements about the organization for themselves. Candidates should be treated like customers.
Base goes beyond a sales CRM. Our internal hiring managers use Base to move job candidates through the application and interview process. I guess you could call it a Candidate Relationship Manager.
